the other day and located the algorithm for validating the keys. So
might be able to isolate it and reverse it but I'm sure there are enough valid keys out there.

I think interlord doesn't play nice with 4.07. I also prefer other IGMs
on 4.06. Some game logic was changed in 4.07 which made the game less
fun IMO, and IGMs were all written considering traditional game
mechanics.
Well, the only approved IGM for interlord is castle coldrake anyway, but yeah.
I tried 4.08 and it seemed pretty good aside from the unregisterable
fact. I may go snag the patch off Analog's BBS and see how that plays, but I have been trying to focus on inter-bbs games instead of the local ones.

I don't know what 4.08 offers that you can't do in 4.07 but the attack and defend strength stuff in 4.07 ruins the game for me. I think 4.06, with its flaws, is the pinnacle of LORD.
The only limitations in InterLord are the IGMS that are being used. As soon as this months contest ends, I will be expanding the list of allowable IGMs.

4.06 is the one we use because the keys floating around the net actually work.
Ah yes I forgot it had a Linux version. I noticed it was behind the
Win32 so that's the one I figured was best. I can have a look at the
Linux one, probably similar so I can see about that tonight.

Looks good so far. That game is still buggy for me in that linux
edition, would love to find a more stable edition. Right now the Quests just seem to lock up the game and the ambconfig has never worked for me.
