• Got me the joystick...

From Phoobar@77:1/129 to All on Fri Mar 6 20:14:56 2020
Was over on the Commodore Fido echo & was talking to someone who had just gotten himself the full sized system from a UK company for $160. (They are currently out of them.) Anyway...saw they had the new joystick available...so
I ordered it for $24.95 US with free shipping from the UK. Unlike Amazon & others...they had no problem shipping it to the US & even allowed me to use PayPal without the foreign exchange cost like GOG.com does. Stick should be here late next week or early the next week.

Want to take a look at the site...here ya go:

I have been patiently waiting for the c64 maxi to hit NA, last I heard we should be seeing units here in May but with the COVID virus hitting China I
am sure that any new units will be delayed.

In terms of the joystick...am looking forward to running my favorite C64
games with a stick which will better than the flat SNES ones I have been
    using.

BTW...just popped open the ThinkCentre. Took out the 8 GB SSD which came with it & put a 1 TB laptop drive I was previously using on the Pi for RetroPie. Finally got the system to see the whole drive & is formatting/installing
    ArcaOS to.

Even found out it's got 2 memory slots. May get another Samsung 8 GB stick I found on NewEgg for $30. With both in there...ArcaOS will be running on 12
    GB. ;)

Damn it...6 months lead for the rest of the world. Now...if they had ramped

I think the COVID-19 virus is killing any tech coming out of China. We in Canada are already seeing a shortage of laptops and computer components. I'm sure the same can be said for other countries as well.

The furniture manufacturer is local. The material is made local but this fucking stupid spring loaded bracket isn't. Fuck me. 99% of it is made here,
we tried to source everything made in NA and this one fucking spring loaded bracket isn't. They are local for local fab shops who can spin this things
    out.

Was at the store to pick up normal cleaning supplies yesterday & was grocery shopping today. Both stores had signs up. Where I work had a limit of 10 supplies per person per week...while the store had a total of 4.

If I could afford a bidet for normal use...I would do so. We have them to add on for minimum $400.
