Hey dudes,

First off - posting in the retro gaming sub, hope this is the right one :P

I'm stoked Netsurge recently turned interbbs gaming back on. So far I have interlord, BRE, and Clans connected. I'd like to start a thread to discuss strategy :)

InterLord - My basic idea here is to level up, buy weapons/armor commensurate with my level, and do some interbbs fighting in the interlord "other places" area. How does one win this game? Is it like a tournament?

BRE - I've never really figured this game out. I'm actually reading about it now. Some of these strategy games have always been a bit tough for me to wrap my head around. The button-mashing RPGs have always been more my speed. But,
if there's anyone out there "good" at these types of games, what's a good strategy here? What is considered a victory here?

Clans - This game is tough. I have to pay much closer attention to what's happening (vs LORD, for example). My clan has two tanks, a healer, and a sorcerer, and some Knight that just joined me. I think appropriate strategy here is using your clan to bolster your village. Build new structures in the town via the town hall. Use all of that to build up your empire. Am I missing anything here? Again, what is winning criteria?

I'm open to what the group wants to see happen, I am easy that way. Currently the game is set to reset at the 1st of every month and usually the warrior
with the most kills wins. If you have been keeping up with the scinet gaming echo, there currently is one allowed IGM that brother Batts has offered to
give us all keys for, I suggest you add it.

I am also open to additional IGMS, I am just not sure which other to add.
Open to suggestions.

a lot of it.

This is a traditional RPG with a side of strategy. The interbbs component is unlike any other game. You are allowed to travel to other BBSes to continue your campaign. Personally a great idea.

Can someone tell me how to equip armor and weapons for my party? :) I kept dying because I could not figure out how to equip armor i purchased for my party.

kept dying because I could not figure out how to equip armor i purchased for my party.

"V"iew your stats, and hit "I" for Inventory. Then select "E" for equip, pick the piece of equipment, and assign it to the right person :)
