Jeez man! When you're hot, you're hot!

I had one awhile back, died and then I passed my stuff on to someone else. Nothing much of a draw to the platform for me. Parsec was pretty decent and
    so was Tunnels Of Doom.

Still can't fault you for the deal though!

I thought so. The only reason I wanted one was to build the TIPI addon that uses a Raspberry Pi.which allows the Pi to be used as storage and it allows
you to connect to a SMB share and grab disk images, essentially it is a harddrive and network adapter for the TI.

It even has telnet support and someone has written a 40/80 col ANSI colour telnet client so you can call bbses from it.

There is even multiuser apps that have been written for the TI that allows
you to play games such as Chess, a multi-user RPG and even a chat client with other TI users who are using the TIPI addon.

Wild times, this computer was released in 81, that is nearly 40 years ago.

My god man now you are tempting me, you damn big city pusher! I should let my friend know about that though since he has most of my old TI stuff after he
    got one himself.

I'm placing an order on PCBway for the pcb. I tend to always get 4 or 5
copies of the board, just in case (plus it's so cheap). If they are
interested, they can have the unit for the cost of the PCB and the ICs that
go with it, by my math it's about $20.

I also placed an order for a few pcbs for the C64 diagnostic card wiring hardness if anyone is interested.

Cool, I'll take one for him now and I can give it to him as a house-warming gift. (He just bought his first house)

We probably put in a joint order for some of those power supply protector things for C64/Vic20. I could use a couple just to be on the safe side.

I have one and used it as two of my original PSUs decided to go bye-bye. I
now use a rebuilt PSU that I made with modern components.

If they could get the Pi to emulate the Expansion System, that'd be great!
It sort of sounds like it, for the most part, does. :)

I have one. I need to look into the TIPI.

That is exactly what it does. You entire device is a PiHat that has a
connector that hooks right into the expansion slot.
