I recently discovered Doom 64 thanks to a random Youtube video autoplay.
I always assumed Doom 64 was a port of original Doom to N64. Boy was I wrong.
Google Doom 64 EX, get the launcher (hope you have Windows :P ), get the SDL DLL fix, throw it in the same dir. Grab a ROM (google it) and use
the other executable in the game dir to rip it.

Yep. I didn't own it at the time (in fact, the fact that it was such a departure was one of the main reasons why I didn't buy it) but years later learned how fucking cool it was and tracked down a copy. Unfortunately I barely played it, and recently sold off my entire N64 collection.

So cool. I've been wanting to play that port since it first got released. One of these days I'll dive into it. Too many games, too little time.
