    So is this for computer/BBS gaming only? What about physical
    table top games?

    I'm a big fan of Star Wars and my favorite game is the X-Wing
    miniatures game from FFG. Anyone else here playing it?

    Been playing a lot of Gloomhaven with my wife and a friend. That's quite a
    good dungeon crawler boardgame.

    Haven't played the X-wing one but my wife is a more co-op then PvP style player. Seen it played though and it does look fun but like Warhammer becomes an investment as they sucker you in with those awfully pretty miniatures! :D

    I stumbled across it at FanExpo last year, looked interesting. Now that I
    know it might be something my wife is interested in (she also hates PvP) I might just pick it up. I was also eying it on Steam.

    It's a pretty cool game, heavy, huge and masterfully detailed. If you do get it, make sure to use apps like Gloomhaven helper and a campaign manager.
    With the complexity and detail comes a huge amount of overhead. The apps thankfully simplify it a lot! I'd be less inclined to play if it wasn't for those apps.

    The books are some of my favorite and the game falls right in line. You do
    need to have a basic understanding of the books in order to play, but just
    the general idea.

    I've heard good things about it!

    It's not the same, but Imperial Assault's Campaign game is very fun
    too! It's a one vs. many, but when we play it's more like a GM vs.
    the players and not cutthroat. :-)

    There is a co-op varient, community written. I've played it SOME, but
    not a ton...
