    I know it's quasi-sci-fi, but has anyone seen the new season of Handmaid's Tale?

    As a kid, I was a huge fan of Margret Atwood, a hometown favorite here in Toronto.

    They have really been able to carry the story beyond the novel. It is a
    scary representation of the world and what might become.

    I haven't watched the new season but the first was interesting.

    I have a short attention span when it comes to TV shows unless I specifically make the time to focus on watching them.

    If you like to read then the book is best. The first season ended with the books ending, never knowing what really happens (except for a jump some time into the future where students are studying the rise and fall of the Giden empire).

    Anything beyond season 1 is new ground although they did retain Atwood to
    help with the story.
