Anybody else listen to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast? It's pretty great. He does pretty deep dives into what was going on around pivotal historical (usually military) events, and give a feel for why people felt and acted the way they did. Pretty sparse release schedule, but episodes are typically 3-4 hours each.
Yeah, they are great. I listened to the Genghis Kahn series. Amazing detail and information. He's a great story teller, making history come alive without any shortage of details.
