I'm not entirely sure which one you're talking about, as I've made a ton of shitty oneliners/wall doors and mods in my day, but there was a simple Synchronet 3.x specific baja based one:

I was just playing with jp-nbdisc

...that disclaimer ansi with the 'Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986' and all the 'underground' lawyer type statements had me rolling.

Ha! Yeah, I still use that disclaimer (ANSI, not the mod) on Distortion and revised it recently when I updated most of my bulletins. I had to convince myself to be happy with fixing typos, weird grammar issues, and blatant misspellings rather than waste my time diving into how flawed it was,
and of course how utterly toothless something like that is in reality, even if it were actually legally sound. Still, at least it looks intimidating at a glance and that's half of the battle, right?! :P

Ha! I played with 3.00 when it was brand new and quite novel. I also ran it back in the 90s briefly, actually.
