Anyone watching The Last of Us? Did you play the game(s)? What do you think?

I've played the games and have seen the first two episodes. So far so good! I think it should be a good watch for people unfamiliar with the games too, it does not require any knowledge of them.

My wife and I are watching it. We haven't played the game but I would really like to...I'm waiting for the PC version but also am not sure how it'll work out since I'm watching the series first hehe.

We watch The Walking Dead, which I was sick of after like season three, but we watched until the bitter end (which was crap btw) and then starting this show naturally we drew some parallels. However, I like that there's the backstory up front, they lay down the science, and we know there's a "point" or a desired endstate here. TWD, by comparison, was just a silly syndicated drama with zombies as a backdrop, but I digress.

I really like the show so far. I like how dark and gritty it is. The lack of plot armor for certain characters is very compelling so far.

Ues and enjoyng. The show strays off though but is following the games story line for the mosr part.

So far, its good.

the video games were excellent imo. i don't play video games anymore, but i enjoyed it while it lasted.

i havent watched the movie or show whatever it is, i dont really watch tv, but i must say i am a little interested in it. hope it is a good one.

I have started watching it. I think I a only 2 episodes in. I find it a
good series so far. I have played the game only slightly, but it seems
to not go against the game in anyway that I can see. So far it is enjoyable.

It is also to have a 'zombie' series that is handled a little different than
most typical zombie disasters.
