So I was in Japan for a little while on a work trip, and managed to snag a "new" retro computer for my menagerie!

I'm the proud owner of an NEC PC-8801mkII SR.

Z-80 Clone @ 4MHz
64KB RAM
2x Double Density 5.25" floppies
4 voice FM sound

I've already got it kitted out with some Gotek floppy emulators, and played some banger games like Ys, The Scheme, Thexder, Silpheed, and Sorcerian.

Next thing is to find a good terminal emulator and post to fsxNet from it. Might be a challenge, AFAIK the text mode doesn't have a definable charset, and it certainly doesn't support CP437. Might not even support ANSI colour! But we'll see.

I've had some personal turmoil, but I've been chipping away at my Terminal Shootout video over the months since I first teased it, hoping to get it uploaded before the end of April.

Great to see online again!
