Complete with working keyboard and CUB monitor!

This is pretty special to be fair.

Did the beeb make it as far as NZ back in the day?

    It's very cool IMHO.

yes, we had a BBC B with the speech synthesis kit installed, we played a lot of Elite and I liked a game called Sentinel.

We had a floppy drive and did a lot of programming of the micro.

I loved the literacy show that accompanied the BBC and still enjoy watching some of those older shows with Ian 'Mac' McNaught Davis :) I really admired his ability to tel folks in plain terms what was going on with this new thing called a 'home computer'

Brought back so many memories; I even used to tilt the monitor up onto the
back of the beeb as portrayed here.

Elite and I liked a game called Sentinel.

These were both fantastic performance squeezes on the been; I believe Elite
had several multiplication routines that were optimised for different scenarios. Clever programming at its best.

Yeah, Mac absolutely loved the beeb - everything else was a toy as far as
he was concerned. Fred Harris was a familiar face back in the early 80s,
so I guess he was always my favourite.
