Boggle, what exactly would you do with it? I guess you'd have to be homebrewing something. I can't imagine you'd drop it into your 6502
socket and hope for instant overclock, the antique would never keep up
with it..
The details are in the linked article. It works in the Apple II, Commodore PET and they use it in old chess computers too. Speed bump is only internal, communication with the antique is slowed down.
