• DV vs. DV/X

    From MIKE POWELL@21:1/175 to PAULIE420 on Thu Feb 8 08:39:00 2024
³ I used Desqview a lot back in the day... and still continue using Desqview/X ³ through today - yes, I still have a few MS-DOS machines in service. :P ÀÄ[P=>S]

If I might ask, what do you use DV/X for? I have a copy. I did install it
and have it on a machine where I can boot into it or "plan" DV. Aside from
the fact that it gave me some point-and-click capability, I could not
figure out what the benefit was vs. DV.

Just for multitasking in MS-DOS platforms - I don't use it in production today, but I do boot into it as my preferred GUI on my DOS systems...
