Could we also talk about retro video games like game boy/snes/geenesis/mega drive?

Used to have an NES once... the only game we got for it was TROG. Spent a lot of time playing that with the GF of the time... Don't think I can add much else here :)

I was wondering if FSX_GAMING may be the place for such chat but to be honest I'm not that concerned and tend to think if you're talking retro vs current stuff then yep, this is probably the echo... that said if you want to post in GAMING about such stuff I'm relaxed either way :)

First thing, just wanna say that I LOVE the new Retro Msg Area here on fsxNet. Its really awesome to have this outlet.

I'd support that, UG. I've been enjoying my RetroPie build on a PiBoy DMG hardware; which is a 3.5" LCD screen in a Gameboy-like package. Its really nice.

I can play on that Gameboy form factor or plug it in via HDMI to any screen. :P I want to get an arcade style joystick setup next... and I've been downloading the newest MAME package/ROMs. Its a really awesome time in emulation currently.

Talking about those systems you suggested, I love how I can have their ENTIRE libraries of games all on one system - the only issue with it is finding the good stuff. :P I've been playing F-Zero [And a couple 'hacked' versions with new tracks/stuff], Rampage, R-Type I thru III, Original Gold Cart Zelda and others...

What system and/or games do you like the best?

Oops. I think yer right and didn't realize we had that specific place for gaming. I replied, but will take my chatter there for consoles.

Really enjoying the new areas - and I think we're all just learning them and trying to make em pop. :P

LOL yeah. I actually haven't read any of those crossover comics, but the concept intrigues me. :)
