Anyone know where to buy a 5.25" (locking) Disk Caddy, other than eBay, these days? As I add new retro hardware, I like to give everything a
home for when they aren't being used and I've got to kit out my Apple IIe...
Neither are the BEST quality; thin outer shell and no circle protection
on the exposed part of the disks, but they work and are brand new.
Nope. Seeing that they haven't made those disks in a few decades now,
you might get lucky to find some old-new stock, but eBay is still your best bet.
The 5.25" diskettes on floppydisk.com are all recycled.
And they aren't recycling them anymore according to their web page.

Good to know; they've all worked well, for me - but I hear ya.

Ya, it's sad. This is why I always recommend that people update their vintage hardware to use floppy emulators - especially if they like to use them a lot and they have 5.25" drives.
