Start old pc for the first time - what to look out for?

Greetings all,
I dug up an old pc from our storage unit tonight, which has been in storage
for 25 years, may be longer. I was sure it was my 386, but now that I took
the cover off, it looks like it's an early Pentium. Good thing I bought a tested 386 board a few weeks ago :)
My question is: what should I pay attention to when first booting a pc this old? Would I check all the capacitors on the board and in the PSU? Should I open up the PSU?
Any advice is appreciated :)
Regards,
dozo
