Clockwork Pi sells an interesting device; it's a case and display for a
Pi computing module with USB, SD card slot, Wifi, and a
trackpoint-style pointing device, styled to look like a 2/3s scale
TRS-80 model 100. The screen is double VGA, and it comes with a
built-in thermal printer!

Dude I love this project and hadn't heard of it before.
And I can't figure out if the CM4 is included or not. Anyway, I like
this one and will follow it. I super like the wide-screens that have become a bit easier to order and get - and I like the idea of a
portable computer like this.
I saw this a while back when it was still in its planning stage. It caught my eye because I'm somewhat of a TRS-80 Model 100 fan and the
form factor is about the same.

I'll find out (hopefully) next month since I pre-ordered one.
I believe that it does come with it. I think you need to get the assemble-it-yourself version for one without a CM.

Ok, awesome that you ordered it - please do post here when you recieve. I'm interested in what you think... all those people are designing different (gosh, what do they call em...) mobile/wearable Pi computers
- this one is perfect and sytlish IMO. :P
It seems perfect. We'll see. The main reason I'm attracted to it is because of the TRS-80 Model 100 form factor. The Model 100/102 were so popular with certain groups that they were supported well into the
MS-DOS era. It took laptops a long time to reach that level of usefulness.
I've tried out a few kinds of these. Right now I have a RasPad which works out very nice. I've done some "hardware mods" with mounting a EnviroPhat on the case to measure heat, light, etc. and I mounted a 2
line LCD display for a nice extra read out. Just a few more mods and it should look like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie. 8)
