%resend *.* <filearea> doesn't do anything.
Filefix doesnt respond to *.* - you need to name the file you want fr the file area.
%HELP pretty much says I can't do this =)
Other than dialup my HUB ( you =p ) how do I get a list of files?
There's no options like rescanning with areafix =(
This is an area fsxNet is lacking... I'm really talking about file area management in general and it's on me for not being proactive at hatching or rehatching stuff in recent months.
Now that 1/100 is on HPT/HTICK stuff I'm wondering if anyone in the echo with the scripting chops would be able to write a wee script for me to help
automate regular hatching of files from assorted fsxNet bases out to the rest of the network.
What's I'm pondering is something that is aware of the list of files in a
given filebase directory, can choose one (probably at random. or in sequence down a list) and generate the necessary Htick commands to hatch the file out again with the 'replace' verb included.
That way I could start to run a nightly script to start rehatching stuff out each day and nodes that are newer could get the files other older nodes
already have.
Oh and I'm being lazy by not doing it myself manually... which I will need to get on an do for some files I have sitting here to send out.
