• Sorting message bases

Been a minute since I worked with mystic - what’s the best way to sort the message bases? By network? File? I sorted all the different ways and then still have some outlier hanging out somewhere that makes no sense .

I sorted them by network, as each network usually has some kind of theme of its own (even though they always have some echos that overlap, like a general chat).

    Best regards

That’s what I mostly did. But still had some in weird spots.

Maybe something with the List ACS for those message bases, causing them to
show up in several places? For my fsxNet message bases, I have:

    List ACS ³ s10g2

...where g2 is the message group for fsxNet. That way those message bases should only show up if you have selected ("joined") the fsxNet message group.

    Best regards

I have mine sorted according to network, and of course "Local"

I have them sorted by network here but I have seen others also sort them by interest/topic (or both).

e.g: You could have the fido MYSTIC echo and the fsx FSX_MYS echo both listed in their network groups as well as a separate mystic group if you like:

    Group 1 = Fido
    Group 2 = fsxNet
    Group 3 = Mystic Echos

    Fido MYSTIC acs = s25g1|s25g3
    fsxNet FSX_MYS acs = s25g2|s25g3
