• Help with Mystic 1.12A48 and file groups

    Hi,

I'm trying to get a bbs up and running, message groups are fine but when I go to set up my file groups I cant get them to work properly.

I've got two groups Local (1) and fsxNet (2). I've got the local bases with access of sxxg1 and fsxnet with sxxg2.

I've added all the fsxNet file areas.

When I go into local mode to view the file areas I see 10 file areas for local and 10 file areas for fsxNet. It's a bit hard to see without screenshots. I fear i've done something wrong but i'm not sure what? I've set them up like I did the message bases (which work fine). If anyone can help with what I might have done wrong that would be fantastic!

    Thank you!

Hey there! Common thing people run into setting up their Mystic boards :) the acs for a message group is g<number> like sxxg1, sxxg2. However for file groups it is z<number>, so sxxz1, sxxz2.

    Good luck!

Instead of sxxg1 and sxxg2 use sxxz1 and sxxz2 File bases use the Z not G..
