Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to disable user logon notifications (i.e. the popup
screen which appears whenever another user logs onto the BBS.

I don't know about you, but I find this feature a little annoying.

Hi Lee,

The place to look is in the "prelogin" menu, you will see the first item in the command list is this;

(NS) Send node message 0;|&1 has logged into node |&2.

If you want to disable it, just change the ACS for it to "%" (a percent sign) or to get rid of it completely, just delete that item.

Thanks Christian, that seems to have done the trick; I didn't think of
looking in the login menu DUH!

Whilst I'm here, can you tell me how you managed to get ANSI codes into your auto signature; whenever I save my signature within Mystic, it seems to
strip the ANSI out and save it as ASCII. I don't mind an ASCII signature, but ANSI would be much better.

Look at your menus in the menu editor. Are there FIRSTCMD commands in there that are setting node activities? You can just delete those commands.
