• Qwk Finished

From apam@21:1/125 to ALL on Sat Dec 8 21:54:48 2018
QWK is more or less finished, and has been pushed into git.

If you want to use it, you'll need to add the following menu commands

    QWKUPLOAD

    QWKDOWNLOAD

You can guess what each of them do... :)

I still need to update the configs and menus in dist/ but I'm to tired
    right now.

It doesn't work with email or netmail at this stage. Only local bases and echomail.

I still need to update the configs and menus in dist/ but I'm to
    tired right now.

Configs and menus are updated, the default menus now have an offline mail
menu (with bluewave, message pointers and subscription moved there).

I've also tweaked the subscribe to areas function to list conferences
first, so it doesn't only show areas in the current conference.

There are a few additions to the strings file (sorry tiny ;P)

If you're running a custom menu set, just add QWKUPLOAD and QWKDOWNLOAD somewhere, and you'll be set.

Yeah I have been. Feeling it lol. Might be time for a couple of days
rest. Between my synchronet bbs, synchronet oneliners, sprocket mud,
figuring out how to compile pablodraw and now qwk mail in magicka, I'm a
    little tired out lol.

Okay... I've added the additional lines to the .ini files, I will add
these to the menu tomorrow. (Seriously waaaaaaaaaaaaay to drunk to do it
now - Guitar has been out for over 2 hours and I'm singing country tunes
so clearly I'm beyond hope. (Wife and kid / grandkid all gone to bed - interesting fact I can't be that bad if the baby fell asleep to me.)

Before I start playing punk tunes from my youth I'll head to bed.

    They should be in STRINGS.CHANGES (line 292,293 & 294) they're part of
the new (as of this morning) modifications to the subscription chooser.

Also I reused bluewave strings for the qwk stuff, that's why there's only
    three :)

Oh, sure. Wait until I get Magicka all set up on my Pi, and then update it! ;)

I'll just have to pull the new version... :)

    Keep up the good work!

OK, made a temporary change to my mail menu, will install the proper ones from dist/ at some stage. Seems I can download fine. Will see what upload is like.
No ANSIs done, so QWK commands are currently hidden. :) Found the reference to dist/, so will look there to fix it properly. :)

Still prefer Bluewave, but decided to test QWK for you. :)

I'm guessing this is where the BBS dumped me, while processing the .rep Apam, would you like to see my .rep for testing?
