Hello,

My old doorparty scripts don't seem to work anymore, I notice he's
made a bunch of changes over there... Does anyone currently have
doorparty working and could they share what connector they used and
relevant shell scripts for MagickaBBS please?

Okay... Still can't get the command line right... is it
rlogin -p 9999 username@localhost once dpc2 is running?

Your connector is configured and running and accepts the connection
but nothing happens just says:

Accepted Connection
[TY] connecting to SSH....
[TY] Connected to
..Rlogin
starting RLogin session, terminal type:

Then sits there doing nothing.... So I think I have the rlogin part
wrong. My old script was
rlogin -l [${TAG}]${Handle} -p ${LOCAL_PORT} localhost
But that was set in the shell script....

So confused. LOL

rlogin -l [${TAG}]${Handle} -p ${LOCAL_PORT} localhost

What is the 'rlogin' command here - from your OS, or part of Magicka? (Sorry, I'm uninformed.)

Mind that in some Linux distros, 'rlogin' is an alias for 'ssh' by default, and
that will not work. You might need to find the "real" rlogin first.

If your old script worked before, it should still work. I updated to the new DPC without altering anything about how my BBS connects to it, I think.

Maybe maskreet's reading and has some other ideas.

Magicka doesn't include an rlogin executable, so it would be from his
system.

My money is on the rlogin being a link to ssh like you suggested. Tiny previously ran magicka on a raspberry pi with an older raspbian (9 I
think) and is now running on some x86_64 distro (correct me if I'm wrong

Sorry just from the bash prompt. I just need to know what to pass
dpc?

ie: just from the bash prompt dpc is running. How do I connect?

You are correct. I'm running ubuntu server. I'll made sure it's a
real rlogin

Glad to hear it. This little gotcha has come up once in a while, and it's sneaky since the "rlogin" command exists but doesn't work as expected. Annyoing, but at least it's simple to fix.

Hello Apam!

Trying to get doorparty going on windows. I have it launching fine but getting the user's handle is proving to be crazy. The below batch file if run from cmd.exe works find and will pass the user's alias. However when run from talisman the alias is empty.

Needed to pass the full path to sed. ('"c:\program files\gnuwin32\bin\sed.exe" -n 7p c:\bbs\temp\%1\door32.sys') do SET
HANDLE=%%i

Now working correctly.
