Yep, this is propagating via VKRadio nicely. :) Now to automate the gateway and also try and eliminate the need for an X server to run
DOSBox. :)
... What if I told you you can't hurt the newcomers?

Didn't remember seeing the gateway line. Still pretty kewl.
Comin' on there here!Yeah, good experiment, but I have to setup a DOS system to host it. :)

I agree with the experiment. In terms of the system...gonna go with FreeDOS?
Yeah, good experiment, but I have to setup a DOS system to host it. :It already has a perfectly good installation of MS-DOS 6.22 and even 4DDS installed on top. :)

Love 4OS2 on ArcaOS. In terms of FreeDOS...was thinking of the use of FAT32...even though it's more of a non-issue today than in the past.
May I suggest heading over there to see some of the graphical
front-ends they include with FreeDOS you should be able to download seperately.
FAT32...even though it's more of a non-issue today than in the past.FAT32 is waaaaaay overkill for my old DOS setup. :)
front-ends they include with FreeDOS you should be able to download seperately.Again, why? Kind of irrelevant to what I'm planning to do. I generally don't run a GUI on machines dedicated to server tasks (and a mail
gateway is definitely a server task). :)

Two words: MORE POWER! ;)
don't run a GUI on machines dedicated to server tasks (and a mail gateway is definitely a server task). :)Why waste it on a GUI, when you could save it for server tasks? :D
