• Black Hole (echo gating)

From Vk3jed@21:1/109 to Avon on Thu May 14 15:19:00 2020
Had a bit of a look at Black Hole. Looks promising for gating this echo to other FTNs. I may create a separate echo on my end, rather than gating VK_QSO, because VK_QSO's actual topic is "anything" (not just radio related - more like FSX_GEN), while I would think we should limit this echo to amateur and related posts. Then when you give the nod, I can test from my gateway, then once we're happy, I can then expand thhe new echo to the whole network.

I'll probably call it something like VK_HAMNET :)

Hopefully get started on it tomorrow. Going to have to fly a bit blind, because I have to run DOSBox with no display. unfortunately, the design of DOSBox isn't that great for my application. :/
