    sailors have been using that one for years! another good weather app is predictwind, which adds weather routing and more detailed models.

    I helped sail a friend's boat from Oahu to Blaine, WA a couple summers back. We had a gentleman back on shore who helped with our weather routing. We'd check in with him on our SSB every evening and that was one of the highlights of the day! I *think* he was out of Tuscon? Anyway, it was one of the highlights for the 30 day crossing checking in with him each evening around dinner time. Mad respect for you guys! I wonder if any of you know him? I can't remember the name, but I think he was a pilot in the military and helps many vessels cross with great weather info!
