• Fediverse Bridge

From MissChief@21:2/108 to All on Wed Nov 23 17:41:43 2022
I just bridged CiberNet and GlobalNet with the Fediverse (Mastodon, Friendica, etc). Inbound messages (toots) are posted to message bases depending on #hashtag. Outbound only works on the main chat base at the moment.

Has anyone else done a fedi<>ftn bridge?

This is great. I've been thinking all week about stuff like this - any way to make FTNs more accessible seems like something worth exploring, no?

    no?

Me, too - getting back into Mastodon reminded me of early twitter and early identica/status.net, where my friends list consisted of people I knew, not companies and sponsored posts.
