    Hah..

I quite recently came back from London, where in a hobby store I found Battletech board/war game. Instant purchase! that is one of those missing childhood games I did not have in my possession.

    Achievement unlocked!

Now my hex maps folios and dioramas I was DYI creating to simulate this game finally got a proper figurines. I tried to evangelize my kids with this game, using Duplo/Lego figurines and homebrew hex maps.

With this addition, our battles won't look cheap anymore!

... Xerox Alto was the thing. Anything after we use is just a mere copy.

    To which Commodore Clifford replies...

Did you get the one with the plastic models, or the one that had the
    cardboard counters on stands?

I had both in my box. Complete set of plastic models and cardboard copies of the same initial setups of mechs.

I saw plastic models also available for purchase separately in the store I was buying them at.
