    What does everyone play?

Lately I haven't been gaming as much as I used to, but one that I've enjoyed playing lately is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I've always enjoyed flight simulators, and FS2020 is very detailed.

Every so often I enjoy playing a couple rounds of a 3D shooter - One of my favorites had been Unreal Tournament 3, but it seems many of the servers I was playing on have been down for a while. I found a free open-source 3D shooter game a while ago called Xonotic which plays similarly, and is somewhat active online. It's also made for Windows, Linux, and Mac, which is nice.

I've always enjoyed strategy games too. The Civilization games are one that I enjoy, though sometimes it's difficult not to play for less than a few hours at a time. :)

Good to see you made it here.

    What does everyone play?

I play a variety of game categories, mostly related to combat.
(Most of these games are avalible on Steam, Except Minetest and
    Minecraft)
World of Warships, (Sea combat game, 3rd person view of your ships/subs)
Payday 2, (First person shooter with some randomness on
every map, probably my favorite of all of these)
Minetest, (First person block building game... quite similar to
Minecraft, yet different, It's my goto replacement for Minecraft, I
write my own mods for it too)
Minecraft. (The classic block building game, Minetest is similar but
quite different, Yes I used to be addicted to this game, now I don't like
it at all, but still play it every now and then)

I even run my own minetest server. (You'd just have to connect to my
board bbs.beanzilla.net ssh:2222 telnet:2323, and look at the Minetest
    Server bulletin)

And now to list the games I play on BBSes: :)

Trade Wars 2002 (I prefer the 2002 edition, the 500 is ok, but really
    like the 2002)
Darkness 2 (Version 2.0 of Darkness, fun to play, kind of similar to
    LORD)
LORD (Legend Of the Red Dragon, the game that I've (so far) can't say
    I've beat the Dragon (yet))
Galactic Dynasty 2 (Version 2.0 of Apam's door, fun space game, similar
    to Barren Realms Elite (BRE))
BRE (A space game about building your empire, and the fun of attacking
    other empires/folks)
For Honour (A LORD similar by Apam)
Yankee Trader (YT is similar to TW2002, but much different, TW2002 runs
a server, YT doesn't, But YT has daily lottery (where you can't loose),
same concept as TW, buy ports and once you get enought you win the game)

    Anyway...

    Take Care,
    Apollo

Man, It's been a while since I've played CIV! I just recently installed the DIABLO remake as well - My kids and I used to play on 3 networked PCs back in the day. XCOM was another fave of mine.

I play (not so very often) games on the PC, XBOX, PlayStation.

I used to have a reg. copy of TW2002 but cannot locate it. I recently registered PLANETS, though.

I have like 7 diff. flavours of L.O.R.D. on my BBS - one of my old time faves. Arrowbridge 1 and 2. Sunrise Doors - Pyramid, The Pit was fun but no one else ever played it. Darkness was just installed and registered - sorta like L.O.R.D. but SciFi future city.

XBOX/PS : Dragon Age games, Elder Scrolls, Wildlands, etc.

    What does everyone play?

Currently hosting "Minecraft May" for a streaming friend. I also host a Final Fantasy XI private server among other random game things. Also playing Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters and trying to play more of Nier: Automata. Final Fanasy XVI is around the corner too. Lots of Final Fantasy. I recently finished Octopath Traveler II, played some God of War too.

I picked up PSVR2 and its a very nice set up. Some of the early games are good. Pavlov is a fun shooter. I'm waiting for Beat Saber to get the upgrade to PSVR2. The Horizon VR is a fun experience too.

I will still play on my NES up to PS5 and everything in between from time to time as well. And handhelds.. can't get enough PSPs for some reason. Its kind of a problem.

    What does everyone play?

I just finished up the main story on 'Jedi Survivor' on the PS5 so I need to finish collecting things and going back around and checking out 'secret'
areas I couldn't get to in the main play.

Next I need to swing back around and finish up the (excellent) remake of Metroid Prime on the Switch.

There was some talk of Civilization. I have an old Core2Duo Mac Mini that
has Alpha Centauri on it that I hit about once or twice a month. (/me shakes fist at Sister Miriam!)

I've been mostly playing old DOS games nowadays. They're pretty good if you know which are particularly worth your time and which you should avoid like the plauge.

I've been meaning to get back into Minecraft but I feel like i should wait untill i get a computer that isn't on it's last legs before i get back into that.

There's also a lot intresting indie games that you can find online. Although there's more garbage than anything of quality when you find a gem it is a real gem.

Postal 2's a fun yet janky sandbox that despite it's tendency to be controversial is a really well put together title. Just stay away from postal 3. That one is just BAD!

i am a long time counter-strike player, when i have some time from the family i play it on the evenings with my friends. it takes a lot of time from other games i try to play. i started red dead redemption 2 a few month ago for example, which i really enjoy, so i decided to build a gamer pc in to my office, where i have much-much more time to play than at home ;)

my office looks like a retro-heaven, i have ataris, commodores, amiga, etc so there i play a lot with these old computers :)

As Civ is touchbased. Did anybody try Old World? Especially as a comparison to old fashioned Civilization games that mutate in totally different way each release?
