I've played the PSP game and have now played through Crisis Core Reunion. If you're a fan of FFVII it's an excellent prequel. The updated battle controls and graphics are well done. Is anyone else playing it, or planning on it?

Crisis Core! I remember at that time, everyone just wanted a FFVII remake and it seemed like Square would keep releasing games that had the FFVII universe, but never FFVII itself.

I played that back in the day but haven't tried the Remake. I know I could Google the answer, but where would the fun be in doing that, but what system was the Sequel/Remake on?

The remake is on lots of things: Steam, Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox (I think?). The game has a fresh polish on it and it is nice to play. Still has some of the best summoning animations they ever did.

That's really cool, I had no idea they remade it.

I'll give it a go once I have some time and let you know how I like it.
