I replaced my trusty old 2GB Nvidia GT1030 with a RTX3050 - it was the fastest card I could find that didn't need external power (I have an old off-lease Dell, don't want to fidget with SATA to power connectors or
swap the power supply out)
Let the gaming begin! War Thunder went from 40 fps at medium (optimized
by Nvidia) to 120 fps at max (without running their optimizer)!
Woohoo! Was your 1030 a DDR4 or DDR5 version? Those things are pretty
sad... I had a DDR4 version and it was pitiful... The 3050 will suit you a lot better, and is DLSS capable, though not FG...
