So, while I've always liked ENiGMA.5, I haven't ran the software for about a year.

Just wanted to drop a line and state that the BBS has been maturing in my absence, and I'm impressed with the new documentation since... you know, last summer or so.

When I tried it before, I thought that it looked rad but was going to be super hard to learn a new language just to modify the system enough to not have a stock ENiGMA BBS. If you're looking for a BBS package I think this one is really becoming a stable software that has TONS of documentation - just like any other software, if you invest the time reading the docs and implementing things I think ANYONE could modify this sucker something fierce.

I now have an install [Its at 20ForBeers.com:8888 if you wanna sneak in!] and AM going to start the process of creating a 2o fOr beeRS ENiGMA, again, and to me it almost feels like I'm using a new software... theres a lot more here that there was just over a year ago.

Go for it I enjoy a good task.. LOL Seriously though, once I got past the ignorance of not using the correct text editor (VS Code now) it was great
after that. It really does run solidly.. LOL

I know its dumb, but I'm sure a WFC would put smiles on faces!

Also, I agree with the OP - Enigma.5 just runs. Forever. I also love that, except for the fact that I've had it installed for a couple weeks now, just sitting there. :/ I need to REMEMBER to dig in. Can you code in some fails and warning messages to remind me?

Installed, awesome and beautiful - but don't get stoked, thats how ENiGMA comes stock and all. :P

I am doing a LOT on my Mystic board - which is great. I was thinking I should [at least] be focusing on Python, instead of MPL as its you know... not 'current' and all.

I'm hoping that I'm still learning programming THINGS that will translate to something more current at some point - I hope its not all worthless knowledge. But, it just means I haven't jumped off into the node.js stuff just yet. Again, I think learning it would be more beneficial JUST because its more current, but I haven't ran with it lux.

Time gets pinched you know...

Do you [heavily] modify your ENiGMA install? And, I don't know your BBS - I'll check the tagline, but wanna give an apply.
