Released MagiTerm 1.0.91, this is a test build, so no linux rpms/debs.

I've improved colour support for 256/24bit colour. (Previously only one colour change per escape sequence was supported, now it's multiple so you can change the background & foreground in the same escape sequence).

Looks like syncterm also supports 256 colour which is cool! Now we just need an editor.

This can convert images to 256 colour ANSIs, but set width to 79 to work properly.

The 256 test ansi on your wwiv bbs came thru perfectly for me on syncterm.
    Just a heads up.

Cool. Yeah I tried it myself, I didn't realize Syncterm supported it, so thought I would see what it looked like without support for 256 colour.. and it worked :P

I wonder if netrunner supports it.

Have to find some kind of generator / editor for 24bit colour ansi now to test that :P

If you use regular command line telnet to telnet to 1984.ws, you can checkout x84's 256 mode... the sysOp there has a really cool 256-color screen that fades in and out and looks all trippy - I REALLY like his implementation - and its worth a view...

I'd love to see more things like that, or again... just for ideas. Its really rad, and feels like BBS 2.0. :P
