I discovered a bug in the www server yesterday which was present in the v0.8-alpha but for some reason I never triggered it. Except maybe on Tiny's BBS - I may have crashed that last night.
git checkout v0.8-patch
I'll do this for tonight and move to the bleeding edge in the morning.
You did, right after I left for work. :) It's back up now.

Just out of curiosity, do you have IPv6 enabled in magicka? I know you don't have it set up for your ISP, but is Magicka forking IPv6
servers? I'm wondering if you do, that might explain why mine wouldn't crash (Exotica has disabled IPv6).
In the process I also found a couple of buffer overflows, which I'm
not sure why they were not causing grief either, so I guess all that
time bug hunting was good :)
