Why would we specify a socktype here (e.g. limiting to TCP sockets, in theory)?
I would think for a function that's just resolving names to addresses, it wouldn't care what the transport protocol "the socket" is, so "Specifying 0 in this field indicates that socket addresses of any type can be returned by getaddrinfo()" would be more appropriate.
