We were discussing this issue you reported with services (initially, nntpservice.js) corrupting the user.limits.lines_per_message value (setting it to 1?) after a user authenticates.
You sent me some test JS code via IRC which I ran as a service and could not reproduce the problem.
You haven't been back in IRC for a while, so I thought I'd follow up here. I want to make sure we don't forget about this issue. So I have some follow-up questions for you:
Does the problem happen both in debug and release builds?
If you disable any/all other Synchronet services in services.ini, does the problem still happen?

It's bothering me that this problem is still unresolved. Can you kindly answer my follow-up questions?
