Added notes about strings used from text.dat, and some minor misc. changes

Question for you, say I want to change some colors around maybe like when you
hit X it goes to the main doors menu and it is high/light green do I look in
the text.dat file or?

I'm not sure what you mean..? You're replying to a commit message about my message reader (DDMsgReader). My message reader doesn't have an X command and has nothing to do with the doors menu.

By default, xtrn_sec.js uses a dynamically generated selection list that uses the SelectItemFmt string from ctrl/text.dat.

This string (and others) can be overriden in the [xtrn_sec] section of your ctrl/modopts.ini file:

You can also override the external program menus with static (e.g. ANSI art) files. See https://wiki.synchro.net/module:xtrn_sec#display_files

I put OFFTOPIC in the subject because I'm hoping you (Havok) will see
this... I'm trying to communicate with you on the FSXnet thread about changing FidoNet feeds, but you seem to not be seeing it...

read the customization docs on synchronet.
if it's a string you are probably editing text.dat
if it's from a script you are editing the script.

That is what I'm looking for, I'll do some more study on this and see how
it goes, be forwarned I may ask for being your the developer.
