It seems that the area is not active/available at your boss, and he has no available uplinks (configured) to grab that echo for you. Send him a personal netmail to request follow-up.

If 'no joy', then sign up with another boss. No harm in that. As a node, I have at least six links with other nodes for varying echomail areas.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

The official Fidonet tagname is WIFI (no dash).

I *knew* that that the Telegram name could lead to confusion.
That is why I thought it would be best to use the same name.

I made a mistake on the Telegram side by renaming it WI-FI
    from Stas' reactivation as Wi-Fi.

But thankfully, the name on the Telegram side can be anything
we want. Telegram works by using a hidden groupID number
    instead.

I will remove the dash on the Telegram side when I get a
    chance.

But on the Fidonet side, the offical tagname is WIFI.

Not Really. I already have WIFI, but it hasn't seen traffic, so I thought I had it wrong.

Hmmmm. I thought that there were at least a handful of messages. There are 25 messages since Oct 21.

I'm sure there is traffic. It's simply certain point systems I have aren't getting it.

That's a sysop's prerogative to carry specific echos. Some
systems automate the areafix requests to an uplink which
forwards the link to someone that carries it, or not. :(

In that case, a personal note to the sysop can usually get it
    done.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the process. Just making sure it's not my error first.
