• Winpoint node list

From Alan Beck@1:229/426.36 to all on Sat Apr 25 07:42:58 2020
Does anyone have the nodelist working in winpoint?

The directory for putting the nodelist does not seem to exist.

    Yes :)

    C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\Winpoint\DistribNL\

The "Appdata" directory is a hidden directory.

    Great, I will remember that.

I can reach it with the up directory button and then highlight it and load it in. It is my Download directory.

It pleases me that I have found it.

Thanks for your help, now if I can only figure out the areafix command, it chops off the first letter in the listing. I also get the nodelist in 2 messages, can't seem to make them merge,

    So I try.

    Thoughts?

    It works fine here.

The directory for putting the nodelist does not seem to exist.

I see that you already have an answer for that one.

The "Appdata" directory is a hidden directory.

the easiest way to find this directory is to

    click the windows start button
in the search field, type %appdata%
    hit enter

a window should open with your user's appdata directory contents being displayed... then one can go from there to find that which they seek...

just a helpful little tidbit from someone that still remembers a few tricks in winwhatever and does still occasionally provide limited support for programs running on it ;)

    I found mine with

    Extras>options>nodelist.

Used the filefolder to navigate back to my downloads directory and clicked on the file. I don't know about you, but it worked for me.
