I am running Mystic A47 Win32 on Windows 10 32bit. I set up echo mail so each ne twork has it's own out directory ie: c:\mystic\echomail\out\fidonet\ I have not iced there is a bunch of
extra directories there now like c:\mystic\echomail\out \fidonet.001 or argoranet.02e Can I delete the entries and what causes them to be created? Jeff
The directory format for Binkley-style FidoNet is very specific so if
you try to change it for any reasons you will break things both with Mystic and any other mail processor you use. You can specify the
primary outbound directory, but other directories will be created if you have more than one network or address in compliance with the BSO (binkley-style-outbound standard).
The default c:\mystic\echomail\out\primary\ is a good default to use or
if thats too long maybe do "c:\mystic\echoout\primary" or something, as other directories will be created alongside the "primary" directory for other networks and addresses.
If you want a directory for each network you can probably do that justThat's what I have c:\mystic\echomail\out\primary 'my fsxnet directory'
by setting your primary address to your FidoNet address and then setting the primary outbound to "c:\mystic\echomail\out\fidonet\".
