Yep, it really started after WWII when people started moving to the
suburbs and shopping centres popping up to serve them.
Then add in malls starting in the '60s, along with big box stores, and
down towns all over the country started to look like ghost towns.
Now with online shopping, malls are turning into ghost towns.
