I like the older detective shows (Columbo, etc) and always get a chuckle
when say Colombo comes across something cutting edge (c. 1970-90) and has to
be told how something works.
"What is that machine on the table?"
It's a personal computer.
"You mean like those big room size machines that crunch numbers?"
Yes, you can use it for data processing....
"You mean like a typewriter? Where do you put the paper?"
You don't need paper, you write whatever and send it over the phone wire
to another computer.
"How does that work?"
And so on. :)
I also figure 20 years from now people will get a chuckle out of our
current cutting age technology and how primitive it was.
