Yes, I had a lot of succulents that lkely are done for. Some do shiw signs of recovery though. I had some Easter lillies that were coming up and look lije they melted, a few other bulbs as well.
It is early for Easter lillies here. You can buy they around Easter but,
if you plant them outdoors after they are done, they usually come up later
in the year here.
I didn't even think about thhe crepe myrtles. I have 7 in the ground and 3 saplings in pots I'll have to watch.
It may depend on how cold it got and for how long. Some winters I don't
have any trouble with them. Others I do. I can usually tell if I am
going to have trouble by what they look like. If the limbs have all drawn inward towards the "center axis" of the plant, where they were sticking up
or out before, that means they froze.
They usually quasi-recover in the Spring, and recover fully by the next
year. Most of the curled limbs are done for, though, so you have to wait
for new growth. I had a crepe myrtle "tree" that, after a harsh winter,
had to be cut way back and now comes out as a bush.
I always wait until they come out to make sure the branches are dead before
I remove any.
I have only lost one myrtle after a bad winter. The other 7 have so far
always come back. All of mine are in the ground.
