• I apologize

From Björn Felten@2:203/2 to All on Tue Apr 16 07:43:10 2024
To each and everyone that I have insulted or offended the last couple of months, I sincerely apologize.

Yesterday was the day that my beloved wife, and my life companion for almost half a century, should have had her 65th birthday. That meant that she would retire from work and spend the next 20 years (hopefully) with me reaping the fruits of all that we've managed together, spending all that money we've saved on a 20 year honeymoon.

Anita didn't even make it to her 62nd birthday. The Swedish "New World Order" healthcare system killed her. Do you think that I am bitter? You bet I am.

But after more than 30 years in our beloved Fidonet, I really should know better than to drag my personal bitterness into any Fidonet echo.

Once again, please accept my sincere apologies! :(

Maybe I'll be back in a few weeks...

    Hello Bj”rn,

To each and everyone that I have insulted or offended the last couple of months, I sincerely apologize.

    Whatever for?

Yesterday was the day that my beloved wife, and my life companion for almost
half a century, should have had her 65th birthday.

What is the meaning of life? Once our physical existence has come
to an end, we are freed to explore another form of existence.

In New Orleans, a traditional jazz funeral is for a brass band
to play songs of mourning as the body is taken to the cemetery to
be entombed. Once the deceased has been laid to rest, the brass band
plays songs of joy rather than mourning, as their beloved has moved
on to another form of existence, thus giving reason for all to
    celebrate.

That meant that she would retire from work and spend the next 20 years (hopefully) with me reaping the fruits of all that we've managed together, spending all that money we've saved on a 20 year honeymoon.

Nobody should be forced to work. Ever.
Nobody should be forced to "save for retirement".
Nobody should be forced to pay for something they cannot get.

People should enjoy the fruits of their labor each and every day.
People should also enjoy the fruits of other people's labor, each
and every day. That is why everything ought to be free.

Why save, when it is so much more fun to spend? Especially
when spending on both yourself and for others? When I walk into
a store, the first thing an attendant asks me is "Can I get you
anything?" or "What would you like?" - and then is super kind
by getting me exactly what I want.

Anita didn't even make it to her 62nd birthday.

Even had the time she gave to you only been a single day, it would
    have been a blessing.

The Swedish "New World Order" healthcare system killed her.

Access to quality health care is the first of all human rights.
And yet, such access continues to be denied for so many.

Do you think that I am bitter? You bet I am.

    Je suis fache aussi, Bj”rn!

But after more than 30 years in our beloved Fidonet, I really should know better than to drag my personal bitterness into any Fidonet echo.

    You have two choices -

    1. Give up and let the wealthiest one-tenth of one percent of the
world's population get their way of raping everybody else.

    2. Get mad and do something about it by fighting for what is right.

    Business denies, government provides.

If government is "we the people" - then we have all been conned.

Once again, please accept my sincere apologies! :(

Time to get mad! You think I am joking? I am a Mad Cajun!
Now. Pick up your hammer and learn how to use it!

Maybe I'll be back in a few weeks...

    Uh-oh.
The Mad Viking has found his Hammer.
And is learning how to use it.
All because Mad Cajun told him to.
