    Is anyone running Gameserv on a Win/64 system?

    I was trying it on my Win/64 and it says basicly it can't do it, but I have it running on a VM with Win/32.

    i just installed it and it worked. there's soem doors that need the fossil setup and running though.

    I recently experimented with it and even with ntvdmx64, it refused to launch 16 bit doors :/

    However, you can use Synchronet to do basically the same function, and it works very well on Win/64!

    the copy i have launches bbs dosbox but it's not configured correctly and only shows locally. not a big deal. also like i said it needs the fossil.

    i just think gameserv is misconfigured for these doorgames.

    Here's what I get when I try and run Gameserv on my Win/64 mysticBBS setup.

    I already had dosbox installed. Gameserv doesn't try an use/run dosbox. Do you know of a setup to do that?

    Maybe Net2BBS/TelnetDoor is what you are needing. I use it as a frontend for my various BBS systems.

    well you should contact the author and ask him why it's not launching your dosbox. also you need a dosbox with the correct patches and the correct game settings.

    your dosbox. also you need a dosbox with the correct patches and the correct game settings.

    I had dosbox ver .74 installed, I uninstalled it and installed .73, which is the ver dosbox says is missing. Once that wass installed it worked fine. I no longer need to use the VM, everytging runs under Win 11/64

    Gameserv was looking for dosbox ver .73. I removed .74 and installed ver .73, and all works perfect now on my Win 11/64 bit system.
