MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

Title: Buttermilk Pie

Yield: 1 Pie

2 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter
1 c Buttermilk
3 Eggs; separated
2 ts Vanilla
Nutmeg; to taste
1 Unbaked pie shell (9")

Cream butter and sugar together; add buttermilk, beaten yolks, flour,
and flavoring. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into sugar mixture.
Pour into a pastry lined 9" pie pan. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.

Bake in pre-heated 350?F oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until silver
knife comes out clean when inserted in center of filling.
