Title: Baked Flounder Fillets
Categories: Fish, Seafood
Yield: 2 Servings
2 Flounder fillets (5 oz ea)
1/2 tb Butter; melted
1/2 tb Olive oil
1/2 tb Lemon juice
1/2 ts Smoked paprika
1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Pat the fish fillets dry with
paper towels and place the fillets on a rimmed baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, and lemon
juice. Brush the butter/oil mixture onto both sides of the fish.
In a separate bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt,
and pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning liberally on both sides of the
fish.
Bake flounder in the oven for 12-15 minutes, until the fish flakes
easily with a fork. Depending on the thickness of the fillets you may
want to check for doneness at the 10 minute mark.
