2 c All-purpose flour
1 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1/3 c Butter; softened
1 1/4 c Buttermilk
1 Egg

2 c Blueberries; fresh or frozen
MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
1 c Powdered sugar
1 ts Grated lemon peel
1 tb Lemon juice; up to 2 tb
Heat oven to 350 F.
Beat cake ingredients in a large mixer bowl on low speed for 30
seconds. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 2 minutes.
Spread half of the batter in a greased square pan, 9x9x2 inches or
oblong, 13x9x2 inches.
Sprinkle with half of the blueberries.
Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining blueberries.
Bake about 45 minutes.
Mix all topping ingredients together and drizzle over warm cake.
