There is a new version of the AI-WX Weather Door available for download on my BBS at firesidebbs.com telnet: 23231 or on the website at firesidebbs.com.
Version 1.2 fixes a few NetRunner and ANSI color issues.

If you aren't familar with AI-WX, it offers a plethora of weather data displayed in ANSI graphical format. It also displays real-time animated radar in ANSI or hi-res Sixel format. Hi-Res Sixel requires a terminal that support it like SyncTerm or ICYTerm.

This new version also adds a few UI enhancements and a slew of new comman line options that lets you seamlessly integrate the doors weather function into your BBS menu. Leveraging many BBS's abilities to pass in the user's IP address, you can now offer weather data based on the user's location. You could create a menu inside your BBS for things like...

    (C)heck Wx Alerts
(R)adar (hi-res that rivals anthing on the web)
    (E)xtended Forecast
    (C)urrent Conditions
    (T)emperature Trends etc...

Using the new command line options, you can also create menu options to display weather data for static locations by passing in the latitude/longitude for any place on earth. So you could display weather for places like SpaceX Launch Pad, ski areas, stadiums, landmarks etc...

You can check out some of these new capabilities on the support BBS at firesidebbs.com telent: 23231, just select (W) on the BBS Main Menu.

    Thank you folks,

    Vince
